Right now is the time to lead. However, these could also be scary times with the potential for lots of uncertainty. So here is some motivation and a lesson from an old-timer (and a little extra from me).

Has all the negative news about the financial sector got you feeling a little down? That’s normal. However, you have to keep perspective for your own piece of mind and that of your clients.

If you’ve chosen to be in marketing, sales, or own your business, the territory called success is littered with challenges–some not so bad and others capable of knocking you down and keeping you down (if you let them).

The other side of the coin is if you are an industry leader, or you want to be, you have to actually lead. You do this by leading your clients during this time of economic uncertainty.

Show them how to save money. Show them which products and solutions will help them reach their goals but not break their budgets. Provide them with the ROI backup that will help them solidify their budgets with their management.
