How We Work

If you would like to work with me or my team I have few guidelines. First, on how we work, and second, on who we like to work with.

First……

  • We choose family first. If it is a choice between you and my family, I choose family every time. I hope you do too.
  • We do not do RFPs or competitive bids.
  • We are partners. I don’t work for you I work with you. I expect courtesy and consideration. We look to be partners with our clients.
  • We call back within a reasonable time. We expect you to do the same.

I will continue adding to this when I deem it necessary.

Second……

  • We work with VARs who value marketing (and what it can do for them when it’s done correctly).
  • We work with VARs who want to increase their profits through offering services and consultation.
  • We work with VARs who are consultative and want to diagnose before prescribing.
  • We work with VARs who want to genuinely solve a client’s business problem with an IT solution.
  • We work with VARs who want to rely less on transactional selling and more on creating a continuous flow of projects, profits, and revenue from their existing clients.
  • We work with VARs who are committed to providing lots of value to their clients.
  • We work with VARs who see marketing and communicating with their clients and prospects as a consistent process (and not an event or series of events).
  • We work with VARs who actively marry sales and marketing as a seamless team.
  • We work with VARs who actively seek a marketing partner not a marketing vendor.
  • We work with VARs whose executive management (CEO, etc.) is involved in marketing decisions and planning.

If this doesn’t describe you, if your business philosophy is different than what I have stated above, then we are better off not working together.
